Eaglescott has
a welcoming clubroom with catering facilities, class rooms for ground school
and pre flight preparation areas.We have two hangars, one 6400sq ft ( 80x
80 clear span )
the other 3600sq ft (60x60 clear span).Plans are currently
in place for individual bay hangars
There is ample area for outdoor storage
of aircraft and gliders. It has one main runway which
is grass and an emergency
crosswind runway , there are also two helicopter landing pads.
Full fuelling
facilities are available. The airfield is set in a most beautiful area
of North Devon
only 5 minutes flight from breathtaking north Devon coast
lines. The club is vibrant and friendly
with a diverse membership. There's
always a welcome and a cup of tea in the clubroom and an
atmosphere that
promotes and encourages flying. The quality of training available is to
the highest
standards with dedicated enthusiasts who love flying and love
to teach. Several former students
have gone on to have very successful
careers in aviation and many just enjoy their flying for its own sake.
Everyone is welcome to drop in for a chat or to take a trial flight or
to join the club as a full qualified
member and fly out of this magnificent
airfield.
